Violence, assault or intimidating behaviour
Violence, assault or intimidating behaviour
Violence, threats, or intimidating behaviour can be frightening and distressing. This includes physical attacks, threats, aggressive confrontations, or any behaviour that causes fear or makes you feel unsafe.
If you have experienced this we would encourage you report this to the police as a crime, in an emergency call 999 and in a non-emergency call 101. Once you have reported it to the Police please let us know, and always include the incident report number.
Hate crime
If you believe that an incident has been motivated by yours or someone’s disability, gender-identity, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation, this is classed as hate crime. It is important you report this to the Police first, before you report it to us.
You can find more on our Hate Crime page.
