Useful tools to help you with your rent

We've created some calculator tools to help you with your rent.

If you have any rent debt you'll be able to use our calculator to understand how much you could afford to pay back and how long it'll take you to pay the debt back.

You can also use our rent payment calculator if you claim housing benefits to understand whether you might have any rent shortfall.

If you claim housing benefit, use this calculator to work out your shortfall (the difference between the rent charged and your benefit received).

Please note, this calculator is a guide only. If your housing benefit amount changes, the amount you may have to pay may also change.

For the 2024/2025 financial year, there will be an adjustment to our rent calculation process. Due to the presence of an additional Monday in the calendar, the calculation will consist of 53/49 weeks instead of the usual 52/48 weeks.
