Fire-related nuisance
Fire-related nuisance
Setting off fireworks, having barbecues or using fire pits is not generally considered ASB. However, giving your neighbours a heads-up before you do these things is a thoughtful gesture that can help maintain good relationships.
If you spot a contained fire (like a fire pit) in an outdoor communal area, please report a neighbourhood issue.
If any fire gets out of control, always call 999 first.
Arson
Arson, or attempted arson, is the act of deliberately setting a fire, causing damage to property or endangering life. It's a criminal offence and must be reported to the emergency services.
Please call 999 first, and when it's been dealt with, let us know by reporting a neighbourhood issue - please include any incident number.
