Neave Close, Walpole
We’ve submitted a planning application for Neave Close in Walpole, replacing two unused properties with four new two-bedroom bungalows for affordable rent, that are arranged around a small shared green space. Parking will be reorganised along the western edge to give two spaces per home plus a disabled bay, while keep the existing spaces. The design has been shaped by residents, the Parish Council and East Suffolk Council, and prioritises privacy and community. The homes will be energy efficient.
How did we get here?
Putting together a planning application takes time and teamwork. With support from the Walpole community and help from our design team, we’ve worked together to develop a scheme that makes the most of the site and brings more affordable housing to Walpole.
You can view the full planning application and all supporting documents on East Suffolk Council’s planning portal.

What happens next?
In December, we officially submitted the planning application to East Suffolk Council for the regeneration of the site.
You can take a look at the full application here or on East Suffolk Council’s planning portal using reference DC/25/4933/FUL.
East Suffolk Council will now review the application before making their decision. This process can take a little time, but we’ll keep residents updated as soon as we hear more.
