As a Customer Committee Member you’ll be one of eight tenants/shared owners that will come together and share knowledge, passion and experience to enhance our ability to deliver the best services to our customers.

The part you'll play:

  • Influence decisions that are right for all our tenants, customers, and their communities.
  • Work together with Flagship to ensure the voice of the customer is heard.
  • Help Flagship learn from experience to improve services.
  • Influence and customer-related strategies, policies, and services.
  • Monitor the customer experience in relation to the Regulator of Social Housing’s consumer standards.
  • Oversee delivery against the Housing Ombudsman’s Complaints Handling Code.

Who we are looking for:

  • Good communicators who contribute to discussions, express views clearly, and offer constructive challenge.
  • Individuals committed to ensuring the customer voice influences decision making and is representative of our communities.
  • People who demonstrate commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, respecting attitudes, traditions, and beliefs of others.
  • IT literate with experience of using and interpreting facts and data to drive improvements.
  • Individuals committed to the vision and values of Flagship, ideally with an understanding and appreciation of a regulated environment.
  • Individuals who demonstrate the ability to work alongside others in a respectful manner and conduct themselves with integrity, honesty, and maintain confidentiality.

Commitment:

  • Attend no less than four meetings a year, either in our Norwich office or for those further afield, there is the option to dial in and join meetings remotely.
  • Dedicate one day each month to the committee (reading/training)

Compensation:

  • £5,653 per year (paid monthly), plus reimbursement of reasonable expenses.
